1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible

Progress Report - 4 wheel disk brakes installed

We bought a kit to convert the brakes to 4 wheel disk brakes on the car. Richard did a beautiful job. He also installed KYB shocks front and rear. Haven't decided on what we will do on the springs yet. The new LS aluminum motor will be much lighter than the stock cast iron 330 V8 so we will need to adjust the springs to get the correct ride height.

After the brakes were installed the old rear end was put in to allow us to roll the car. The rear end was ready to install at Auto Tek where they had installed an Auburn 3:42 positraction unit with a new ring gear and pinion in the 1972 Cutlass housing we had purchased.

The car is loaded on the trailer for the trip to Auto Tek. Since the windshield was out we needed to put the top down which required a jump from the battery to the top motor but we finally got it down -- we didn't want to blow the top off when we trailered it down the road. Pulled the trailer with our 1992 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser.
